Program Description

Corporations across the globe in industries such as telecommunications, construction, information technology, entertainment, healthcare and defense are becoming increasingly project-based and project-team oriented. An online MBA degree with a concentration in project management provides students with the skills necessary to lead complex projects for mid to large-size corporations.

The project management MBA course consists of 36 credit hours (12 subjects)* and focuses on best practices for selecting, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing projects. Students engage in the practical application of project management principles through exercises and the use of current industry software.

The online project management MBA program is designed to incorporate flexibility for working professionals and is offered online so that the course may be conveniently accessed by students 24/7. All project management subjects at the MBA level follow the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Fifth Edition standards set by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

*Students who have already completed subjects at the graduate level may be eligible to receive up to 6 credits in recognition of their previous studies. Click here or contact an admissions advisor at students@in.saintleo.edu for more information on the requirements and the credit recognition process.
