Our professors hold either a doctorate or master's degree in their specific area of instruction. Alternatively, they may possess a master's degree with a specialized focus in the discipline they teach, accompanied by a minimum of 18 semester graduate hours dedicated to the teaching discipline. This ensures that our students receive top-tier education from accomplished experts in their fields.
Faiz Ahmad
Professor Faiz has a passion for counseling parents on positive parenting and young adults on life skills and their rights. Prior to teaching at Saint Leo, Professor Faiz served as a Consultant for the Centre for Child Rights funded by UNICEF under the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi. In addition, since 2013 he has taught accounting, finance, macroeconomics, and business management studies.
Along with an MBA with a research concentration in strategic management from the Indian Institute of Management, India’s premier business school, Professor Faiz has 14 years of experience working with communities and research in the social development sector. He has worked with communities in the areas of health, nutrition, child rights, gender equality and equity, trafficking, migration, and more.

Smriti Parhi
Professor Smriti holds a master’s degree in social work from Tata University of Social Science, as well as a master’s in philosophy of sociology from the University of Mumbai. After spending years in the field of social work in project management and implementation positions, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and teaches subjects in sociology and social work to inspire a community of reflexive professionals. Her research focuses on the intersections of law, child rights, and mental health.
Richa Kela
Sivaraman Eswaran
Dr. Sivaraman completed his Ph.D. at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2019. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) and Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN SET) for Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Application, conducted by the University Grants Commission and the Government of Tamil Nadu respectively. In addition, he is a CompTIA Security+ certified professional and EC-Council Certified Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator in addition to a Microsoft Certified Professional and EMC Academic Associate. His research interests include cyber security, 5G networks, and cloud computing.
